Buying or selling a domain, handled properly
Discreet brokerage for premium domains and portfolios, from first approach to secure transfer.
The best domains rarely change hands in public. The owner is not advertising, the buyer does not want to show their interest, and the wrong approach doubles the price or kills the deal. Brokering that quietly, and getting the mechanics right, is the job.
For buyers
You have a name in mind, or a shortlist, and you would rather the seller did not know it was you asking. I approach on your behalf, establish whether it is genuinely available, and negotiate without revealing the strength of your interest. I have spent twenty years on both sides of these conversations, so I know when a price is real and when it is an opening position.
For sellers
A good domain sold badly leaves money on the table. I value the name honestly, identify who the genuine buyers actually are rather than waiting for inbound, and run the sale so you are negotiating from strength. As a Nominet registrar I can also handle the transfer cleanly at the end.
The parts that go wrong without a broker
- Price discovery - neither side knows the real number, so the deal stalls or overshoots.
- Anonymity - the moment a known brand is seen to want a name, the price changes.
- The transfer - escrow, registrar mechanics and payment are where deals fall apart. This is routine for me.
Work with me
Tell me the name you want to buy, or the name you want to sell. I will tell you honestly whether there is a deal to be done.
